🎅 What is Secret Santa?

Secret Santa is a fun Christmas tradition where each participant is randomly assigned another person to give a gift to. This tool helps you quickly generate secure and fair pairings.

📝 Step 1: Enter Participants

You can add names in two ways:

  • Type names manually (each name on a new line or separated by commas)
  • Upload a .txt or .csv file containing names

🎁 Step 2: Generate Secret Santa

Click the “Generate Secret Santa” button. The tool will:

  • Randomly shuffle names
  • Ensure no one gets themselves
  • Display clean giver → receiver pairs

📋 Step 3: Copy, Clear, Download Results

You can use these buttons:

  • Copy → Copy all Secret Santa assignments
  • Clear → Remove current results
  • Download → Save results as a text file

You can choose from four special themes:

🛠 Troubleshooting & Tips

  • Make sure there are at least 2 participants
  • No duplicate names
  • If you upload a file, ensure each line contains one name
  • Your browser must allow audio for Santa sound
