🎄 Christmas Wheel

Christmas Wheel — what it’s good for and how to get started

Choose one of the six built-in presets — Classic Themes, Gift Exchange, Party Games, Kids Activities, Secret Santa Tasks, or Christmas Movies — or type your own list. Click Spin and the wheel picks one item at random. That’s the whole thing. The presets cover most common holiday uses so you can start spinning without setting anything up. The whole process takes under a minute from first visit to first spin, and nothing gets saved or tracked.

The Christmas Movies preset is the one families use most when nobody can agree on what to watch. Add your own movie titles if you want to narrow it down to things you actually own or have access to on your streaming apps. Spin once, debate over, movie starts. It’s a surprisingly effective way to end the “what do we watch?” loop that can eat 20 minutes of your evening.

Party games and classroom uses

The Party Games preset includes activities like Charades, Christmas Trivia, Karaoke, Pictionary, and Freeze Dance — enough variety to fill a couple of hours at a holiday party without planning anything in advance. For a bigger group you can project it on a TV or laptop screen and let each person take a turn spinning. The fullscreen mode fills the entire display so even people at the back of the room can read the result clearly.

Teachers use the Kids Activities preset for the last few days before winter break when attention spans are short and you need something that keeps 25 kids engaged for 10 minutes at a time. Spin for the next activity, do it, spin again. It works better than a fixed schedule because kids don’t know what’s coming next, and that unpredictability keeps them focused. Display it on a smart board with fullscreen mode and let a student volunteer press the spin button — that alone turns it into a classroom event.

For office holiday events, the Secret Santa Tasks preset is practical: it includes things like “Bring a dessert”, “Decorate your desk”, and “Wear an ugly sweater” — tasks that can be assigned to individuals to make the party feel organized without requiring a formal planning committee. You can also clear the preset and add each team member’s name to spin for gift-giving order or charitable donation assignments.

Customizing the wheel for your group

Type anything into the items box and click Update Wheel. You can mix your own items with preset items, remove anything that doesn’t fit your group, or clear everything and start from scratch. The wheel adjusts segment sizes automatically as you add or remove items. There’s no limit on how many items you can add, though wheels with more than 20–25 items get harder to read the labels — keep it to the choices that actually matter for your event.

The download button saves your current list as a plain text file so you can reload it next year without retyping everything. If your family does the same White Elephant game every Christmas, save that list once and upload it again in December. The upload button accepts any .txt file with one item per line.

Why random selection works better than voting at holiday events

Group decisions at holiday gatherings tend to stall. Voting on a party game turns into a negotiation. Asking who wants to go first feels awkward. Having someone volunteer to pick often makes them feel responsible if people don’t enjoy the choice. A random spin removes all of that. Nobody chose it, so nobody is to blame, and everyone can just enjoy the result. This is especially useful for gift exchanges where the order of opening matters — spinning for turn order is faster and fairer than trying to sort it out verbally, and it keeps the energy up instead of killing the momentum while people debate who should go next.

🎉 Christmas Party Game Wheel

The Christmas Party Game Wheel is the ultimate icebreaker for US holiday gatherings. Load the Party Games preset and spin to randomly choose from Charades, Pictionary, Freeze Dance, Guess the Christmas Song, Truth or Dare, and Christmas Quiz.

Perfect for office Christmas parties, neighborhood gatherings, school holiday events, and family game nights. No more arguing over what to play next — let the wheel decide. Use fullscreen mode on a TV so the whole group can see the spin.

Add your own games — White Elephant reveal order, holiday trivia rounds, carol karaoke challenges — and every party becomes one-of-a-kind.

🎁 Christmas Gift Exchange Wheel

The Christmas Gift Exchange Wheel makes White Elephant, Secret Santa, and Yankee Swap games fair and unpredictable. Use the built-in Gift Exchange preset to spin for actions: Open a Gift, Swap Gift, Trade Left, Trade Right, or Choose Someone.

Popular at US office parties with $25-$50 gift budgets, family Christmas gatherings, and school holiday parties. The random spin removes any perception of favoritism and keeps every round suspenseful.

Load participant names and spin to determine the gift-giving order, or assign Secret Santa pairings on the spot. Download your list to reuse next year.

🧒 Christmas Wheel for Kids

The Christmas Wheel for Kids turns the holiday into an adventure. Click the Kids Activities preset to load child-friendly options: Coloring Page, Snowball Toss, Story Time, Dance Off, Craft Time, Act Like Santa, Build a Snowman, and Pass the Parcel.

Elementary school teachers across the US use the Christmas Wheel to randomly pick student activities, select who reads next in a holiday story, or run Christmas countdown games. Display it on a smart board or classroom TV in fullscreen.

Parents can customize it at home with their children's names for a fair turn-order during gift opening, or add personalized holiday challenges for a memorable Christmas morning routine.

💑 Christmas Wheel for Couples

The Christmas Wheel for Couples helps partners decide on holiday plans without the endless back-and-forth. Add your ideas — movie nights, Christmas market visits, cookie baking, ice skating, gift wrapping, or holiday drive-arounds — and spin to pick tonight's activity.

Create a custom Date Night preset with your favorite holiday activities and let fate guide your December evenings. Each spin is a surprise, making the Christmas season feel magical and spontaneous.

Works on any phone or laptop — no app download needed. Spin together, enjoy, and build your best holiday memories.

📱 Christmas Wheel for Social Media Contests
