Kids Animal Games is a free educational hub with five interactive games designed to help children
aged 3 to 8 explore the animal kingdom. Each game covers 30 animals across seven habitats —
savanna, jungle, forest, farm, ocean, polar, and desert — using colourful emoji, fun facts,
and animal sounds to make learning memorable.
All games are played directly in the browser with no downloads, no logins, and no personal
information collected. Perfect for home learning, classroom use, or quiet-time play on a tablet.

🌍 Animals and Habitats Covered
The games feature 30 real animals grouped by habitat. Here is an overview of what children will learn about:
Children learn characteristic sounds for each animal — from the ROAR of a Lion to the
CLICK of a Dolphin — and one memorable fact per animal that they will see every time
they get a question right or wrong.
📚 Educational Benefits
Research shows that game-based learning helps young children absorb and retain new information
more effectively than traditional flashcards or worksheets. These games combine visual cues
(emoji), language (animal names and facts), and classification thinking (matching animals to
habitats) to engage multiple learning pathways at once.
The Discovery Collection adds a motivation layer: children are encouraged to keep playing until
they have unlocked every animal. This builds persistence and intrinsic curiosity about nature —
skills that carry well beyond a single play session.
All games are suitable for use in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 classrooms alongside
curriculum topics on living things, habitats, and the natural world.
The games are designed for children aged 3 to 8. Younger children (3–5) enjoy
Guess the Animal with its helpful clue cards. Older children (6–8) find Shadow Match
and Animal Habitats more challenging. The games are also great vocabulary builders
for early ESL learners at any age.
Yes — all five games are completely free. There is no account registration, no paywall,
no app to download, and no personal information collected. Simply open the page and play.
30 animals across seven habitats: Lion, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Kangaroo and Hippo
(Savanna); Tiger, Monkey, Gorilla, Parrot and Crocodile (Jungle); Bear, Wolf, Fox, Deer
and Koala (Forest); Dog, Cat, Cow, Horse and Pig (Farm); Dolphin, Whale, Shark, Octopus
and Seal (Ocean); Polar Bear and Penguin (Polar); plus Panda and Camel.
Every time a child answers a question about an animal correctly, that animal is unlocked
in their Discovery Collection shown below the game. The collection is saved in the browser
so it persists between visits. Children are motivated to collect all 30 animals!
Guess the Animal shows the full colourful emoji plus three clue cards — habitat, sound,
and a fun fact — making it great for learning. Shadow Match shows only the silhouette
with no clues, so children must rely on memory of the animal's shape. Shadow Match is
noticeably harder and great for children who have already played Guess the Animal a few times.
Absolutely. The games work on interactive whiteboards, tablets, Chromebooks, and laptops.
No logins or software installs are needed, so they are ready to use in seconds. They pair
well with lessons on living things, habitats, and the natural world in Foundation Stage
and Key Stage 1 curricula.
No personal information is collected at any time. Discovery progress is saved only in the
browser's localStorage on the child's own device — it never leaves the browser and is
never sent to a server. No names, email addresses, or account details are required or collected.
