Why Learn Vegetable Names?
Kids who can name vegetables are far more likely to eat them. Familiarity breeds acceptance — when a child can identify broccoli, beetroot, or eggplant by name, they feel comfortable trying it on their plate. Research consistently shows that early food vocabulary shapes lifelong eating habits, making early vegetable literacy one of the most impactful things we can teach.
This game covers 20 vegetables across 7 categories — root, leafy, fruiting, bulb, flower, seed, and fungus — so children build a complete mental map of the vegetable world, not just the most common ones.
